MEAL TEAM ASSIGNMENTS & EXPECTATIONS
In true beach-house tradition, every guest will participate in ONE assigned meal team during the week.
You’ll be assigned to either:

Breakfast Team
OR -
Happy Hour & Dinner Team
After completing your assigned meal, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the rest of the week as other teams take the lead!
📝 Each Meal Team Is Responsible For:
✔ Selecting a meal theme
✔ Shopping for all necessary supplies and ingredients
✔ Preparing and serving the meal
✔ Cleaning up after the meal
HAPPY HOUR THEMES - The Team's have been very creative:
Saturday - Low Country Boil
Sunday - Cowboys and Aliens
Monday - Pirates of the Caribean
Tuesday - Hawaiian Luau
Wednesday - On your Own
Thursday - Mobsters
Friday - The OBX-ican Fiesta
You are encouraged to participate in the theme events - props or dress up to the theme if you can!
Also, we are hosting an 80's theme silent disco... bring your 80's finest to dance the night away...
The Meal Team Assignment and Contact Information sheet has the meal team captain assignments, the meal teams and meals assigned, as well as contact information (email and phone) so the team captain's can coordinate your meal plans and themes!
Saturday, May 16th
We have a Low Country Boil planned from a local catering company. This will be a tremendous meal and allows all of our guests the chance to arrive and relax without worrying about preparing a meal for our first night together. If you have not already, please send your payment for $50 Per Person for this event to Rob Burkart. My Venmo is: @Rob-Burkart the last four (4) digits of my phone is 1779.

Dinner: On-your Own evening. We encourage folks to partner up in groups and make reservations at a nearby restaurant. The Meal Team Assignments and Contact List has a KDH Restaurants tab with 15 various restaurants you may want to consider... Some take reservations, others do not.

Breakfast on our own - use up leftovers from the week... Extra food to be packaged up and given as donations locally.
We ask that folks help with house clean-up before hitting the road:
Linens stripped and placed in bags in your closet, trash removed from rooms and common areas, fridges and bars emptied and wiped down, decorations removed and cars loaded and packed for travel home.
